Playwriting Workshop: You Need a Dramaturge!

Playwrights Atlantic Resource Center (PARC) and Association of Professional Theatre of Newfoundland and Labrador (APTNL) in partnership with St. John's Shorts and the Women's Work Festival hosted a Playwriting Workshop online via Zoom on April 4 and 5, 2020.
In this two day workshop participants had a chance to work with PARC Artistic Director, Pamela Halstead. She has close to twenty years experience as a dramaturge, including the Banff Playwrights Colony, lead dramaturge for Lunchbox Theatre’s Stage One Festival and the PARC Playwrights Colony.
The workshop included both emerging and established playwrights and with a script at any stage - full draft, a few scenes or only an idea.
