JOB OPPORTUNITY - Program Animator - "THRIVING TOGETHER" 

Qualifications/Credentials
  • An understanding of the provincial theatre ecology
  • Great communication skills
    • General understanding of video-conferencing platforms, MS Office and/or Google Suite
  • Proficiency in creating a marketing strategy, use of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.)
  • Comfortable initiating and engaging in conversations with artists of all disciplines found within theatre
  • Great facilitator skills
  • Creative
  • Sense of self-direction
  • Producing/creating skills
  • Organized, with good time management skills
  • Living in Newfoundland Labrador

Expectations
  • Start Date: March 15th, 2021
  • End Date: June 15th, 2022
  • Part time-flexible hours in consultation with the BoD
  • The Program Animator should have access to an internet connection and a computer with access to video-conferencing platforms (Zoom, Skype, WebEx etc), and MS Office and/or Google Suite for this position.
  • The Program Animator will produce a report on the program and participate in a post-mortem with the Board of Directors before the completion of their engagement.

Salary
  • $30,000 - $35,000 for the duration of the 16 month-long contract
  • Travel budget for outreach across the province
