APTNL 2019 AGM & Conference

Our very first landmark conference & AGM was held in St. John’s from November 2-4, 2019.

Invited guests Alan Dilworth and Maev Beatty enriched us with their understanding of harassment policy, radical listening, and first day practices, and Sean Devine, from the Canada Council for the Arts, was able to present a grant-writing workshop and to meet one-one-one with many participants.

Local arts workers Ann Malone, Crystal Laffoley, and Ann Connors gave presentations about accessibility, tech week, and contract writing, respectively, and Jenn Deon presented the first of a series of workshops by the Cultural Human Resources Council in maintaining respectful workplaces.
